PRRacer Announcement - The Convertible HDL!

I'm totally living in #ragover life over here - oh, Monday, why you gotta be so cruel? I've got tons and tons of photos and fun to share, but I'm excited to share something else cool first. In fact, so cool, I wish it existed already and then I could have used it at Ragnar this weekend because it's pretty much everything I could have ever wanted/needed/not-needed-but-carried-anyway on my runs through Southern California this weekend.

The Convertible HDL from PRRacer is a runner's dream come true: a headband that converts to a skull cap, carries a high definition camera and an LED headlamp that can illuminate even the darkest of runs (see! Ragnar perfection). While headlamps and cameras like this aren't new, the Convertible HDL brings them all together in an easy to use, comfortable to wear way!

Now there's no more stopping mid-stride to get that essential mid-morning sunrise photo, no more fidgeting with your phone while you run (totally guilty), and now you can carry all your gadgets in one tool rather than in your waist belt, pocket and armband - it's all in one!

From PRRacer themselves:

The Convertible HDL offers three distinct features, each designed with the runner in mind:
  • Convertible: This is the lightweight, moisture wicking, fashionable headband that converts to a skull cap. Perfect for any climate, it is the Convertible that is the base of our new technology.
  • HD: The camera allows you to capture your run in FHD (1920x1280) or HD (1280x720) format with still photo capability. In addition to video, you can take photos using single shot, burst mode, or time-lapse mode. In addition, the camera carries a GPS, altimeter, and accelerometer to capture all the vital statistics from your run.
  • L: The headlamp shines at more than 400 lumens, ensuring your path is clearly lit, during even the darkest runs. This high-powered light also makes it possible to catch clean video during dawn, dusk and nighttime runs - something no wearable camera offers.
Check out more about it:

How freaking cool, right? But there's one catch - like I said, this baby isn't available yet BUT their Kickstarter campaign launches TODAY! So now you can help get in on the action and make this amazing headgear come to life - I know I'm jumping at the bit to get my hands on one. The first 50 people to purchase will get 50% Off retail pricing!  There are three levels of pledges for the Convertible HDL ($149, $179, $199), so jump quickly. The first two levels are limited quantities so click and buy early!
But - while we wait for this amazingness - PRRacer is cool enough to let me giveaway some awesome stuff in the meanwhile! Lucky you, right?
  • Either a Convertible HDL t-shirt or RUN t-shirt
  • A RUN hat
  • And performance decals for 5K, 10K, 13.1, and 26.2 distances.
  • Winners would need to provide the state they would like on the RUN t-shirt (if chosen), state they would like on the RUN hat, and finish times for the race decals

Are you in?

The Ultimate 30th Birthday Blog Giveaway

Anne of Green Gables was pretty much one of my favorite series growing up, and when a friend posted this quotation on Instagram this morning, I was instantly taken back to remembering reading the first book on the plane to Hungary one year as a kid. Sigh.

It's October, people!
How did that happen?

The cool thing about October is that it starts with my birthday - that's right, today's the day, folks!

New month
New goals
New decade
New age group

Crazy talk. Since I started running nearly four years ago, I've been in the same age group, so while it was inevitable, it certainly hit me this morning that I've got a race on Sunday and my first time in a new age group! Excitement - we'll see how speedy some of these 30-year-olds are!

But meanwhile, the best thing about this birthday is that for MY birthday, I'm giving out some sweet presents! I've got a ton of super awesome folks that wanted to help me celebrate my birthday by contributing to one of TWO sweet runner-friendly prize packs! I'm way excited about what I get to hand out and cannot WAIT to get these bad boys mailed off to two lucky winners!

Check it out:

- 2 3-pack headbands from Sparkly Soul
- 1 Spartan Race entry for any US location!
- A handful of my favorite Gu flavors
- ProCompression marathon socks
- High Visibility SPIbelt
- KIND Snacks -- graola bars, swag, you name it!
- ViewSport Women's tank

These are all some of my favorite running-related things in the world and I cannot believe that they are giving me the chance to share the love with you two. The above list will be divided into TWO prize packs for two lucky folks to win! There are TONS of ways to enter (see below) and get yourself in!

While you're waiting though, you can still celebrate my birthday by getting yourself a sweet discount at Sparkly Soul -- because they're awesome like that and want to help me celebrate too! Use code MEGANSPARKLES for 15% off any individual headbands (not packs, sadly) through October 8. You're welcome. :)

Giveaway runs through 11:59 pm PST, October 8, 2015. Two prize packs will be created from the above list, with approximate value equal between the two.

Friday Favorites #4

You can run this virtual race with me anytime September 26 - October 8. Register here with code MEGAN to save $5 on any of the race distances. Includes race bib, technical race shirt, LED running armband, bag of snacks, finisher's medal and a mystery prize! 10K and half-marathoners receive an extra armband! I hate running at night, but I’m all about the glow sticks and neon fun, so count me in! Join me?

2.       School’s Back!
The university I work at is on the quarter system – it’s still SO WEIRD to me, but whatever. Yesterday school finally started back up again, so it’s awesome seeing the buzz and life back on campus! This week has been all KINDS of insane, and therefore not a lot of miles goin’ down which makes me super sad, but oh well. Such is life, right, and sometimes the paycheck takes precedence over getting in a few miles. I’m hoping tonight before football!

We held two inaugural programs that have certainly been eating up all of our time, but turned out beyond awesome. First, our New Student Convocation which is like the official welcome to our new students from returning students, faculty and staff from all over campus. We had a full house and heard some great things so I think it paid off. The second program (my big baby) is a series of “Ask me!” tables around campus (think like info tables) to give directions, help new students find buildings, get folks to the correct offices for help, and so on. It’s 5 days, 10 hours, and a total of about 550 1-hour shifts to coordinate. Amazing. It’s just day 2 now, but so far, so good… and TONS of great reviews. Hard work pays off, yo.

3.       Birthday Week!
My birthday is alllllllllllllmost here (next Thursday) and I’ve got tons of awesome gifts and prizes to give away, so I’m super stoked. Many thanks to so many amazing companies who are contributing to my #30thbirthdayblogblowout and giving YOU GUYS the chance to win some super sweet birthday presents!

So much fun stuff to give away and I just can’t wait! See more next week for all that it entails – and GET EXCITED!

Happy Friday! What are you up to this weekend?

Review + Giveaway: Tiux Compression Socks

I'm very much a believe in compression socks - though I don't always wear them during a run, I certainly use them for recovery after a particularly hard workout or a long run to let my legs recuperate. It's more often than not that I wear them to bed and really let my legs recover overnight.

A few weeks back, Tiux contacted me about checking out a pair of theirs - I'd never neard of Tiux, let alone their socks, so I was certainly intrigued by this fairly new company. Though small, Tiux has a lot of advantages that I really liked:

They're truly homegrown and a small, thriving group at that! I was curious to check them out for sure.

The other cool piece is that Tiux is philanthropic as well. 1% of revenue goes to MAG (Mines Advisory Group) to help save lives and protect communities from landmines, unexploded ordinances (UXO) and other weapons that remain after conflict. This means that 1% of every purchase goes towards providing a safe and secure future and life for children, women and men affected by violence and conflict.

I picked out a super fabulous pink, lime green and purple pair - becaue duh, color is better.  Styles currently only come in three colors, which is difficult for me because I prefer all the colors rather than just black - so naturally, the pink ones were the first ones I flocked to.

Tiux's socks are designed for use during your activity - whether it be running, lifting or even yoga, rathern than during recovery (though you still can, of course!). My perfect opportunity was when I paced at Ventura this past weekend - again, sometimes I'm good about wearing compression socks during those long runs. Conveniently, the lime green in the socks matched our pacing shirts as well. Win!

Despite having never worn them before (because, you know, no new things on race day!) , I was a little nervous about if they'd rub or slide around in my shoes, but I had zero issues with them. Perfectly snug, but in all the right places.

These socks are incredibly soft, and I feel like the bottoms are padded just a little more than ordinary socks. Not super thick, but just enough to feel a difference as your feet start to yell at you for treating them this way. I loved the hot pink pair and might be scooping up the lime/blue ones in the near future (at just $35 a pop, why not?).

I'm also super stoked that they're letting me give away a pair to YOU, too! See, there's always something good out of this!

Giveaway begins Wednesday, September 16 and ends Sunday, September 20 at 11:59 pm PST. Only winner will be notified. Prize available to those in US and Canada only.

Tiux provided me these socks to use and try for said review. I received no compensation otherwise to review this product. As always, all opinions are my own.

Fourth of July Fun + Giveaway Winners

Happy July... 6th!? Unbelieve that this weekend is over already. I had a three day weekend, Thursday-Saturday off, and had to work today for an event on campus. Despite that, had an awesome holiday weekend with plenty of red, white and blue fun thrown in!

Saturday morning started with  10K (ish) with the IERC, obviously, and a super fab red, white and blue themed club run and potluck. Despite pacers normally wearing our highlighter yellow, we also got to particiapate in the patriotic awesomeness, so naturally I went all out, because who doesn't love holiday dress-up? Especially in these sweet ProCompressions!

Because... 'merica.
After run club, Doug and I headed up to Big Bear, to my aunt's cabin. My parents had been gone all week but were up in the mountains as of Friday, where my aunt, uncle, and other friends were already waiting for us. It sprinkled on the way up and was cloudy, despite apparently being super hot on Friday afternoon.

We headed down to the lake about 3 - apparently my mom and aunt and friends had been down on the shore staking out a spot at like 6:30 am and then came back up to the cabin. Mind you, we were totally lakeside, and right across the water from where the fireworks would be going off. In a total cluster of a production, we had a BBQ, kayaks rented for a few hours, cornhole, and all kinds of thing going on!

Adopted puppy for the day. :)
I took Doug kayaking for the first time - where I pretty much flipped him over not too far into our venture. Pure accident... whether or not he believes me is a different story. Sorry babe!

And before long, it was 9 pm (and cold!) and fireworks time. Big Bear reports that about 80,000 people come up to this mountain town for the Fourth and I would fully believe it. People stayed out in their boats to watch the fireworks, people all over the shores. It was unreal!

It was a wonderful holiday - tons of people, food, fun, and all my favorite things rolled into one!

Other favorites? Giving away fun things! Congrats to the winners from last week's Rock 'n Roll Brooklyn tee/tank giveaway!

Winners, you've all been emailed and have until Friday, July 10 to respond or new winners will be chosen. Congrats! And even if you didn't win, make sure you use code RUNMEGANRUN and you can still save $15 on registration for RnR Brooklyn in October! See? Everybody wins!

How was your Fourth?

Rock 'n Roll Brooklyn + Giveaways!

Like a lot of crazies out there, I’m on a quest to eventually run a half marathon in all 50 states. For some states, I’ve got some in mind, but had no idea of all the options in New York – and, lo and behold, Rock ‘n Roll read my mind and introduced the inaugural Rock ‘n Roll Brooklyn race this fall! HELLO.

Prospect Park.
My sister lives not far from the race, it’s a new state for me, gets me some heavy medal from RnR, AND it’s the weekend after my birthday. Sounds appropriate to me, right? Right.

And the more I read, the more excited I am to run this inaugural race and check out some of the areas around it (though I’ve been to NYC, I haven’t exactly played around in Brooklyn). The city sounds freaking cool! It is the most populous borough in New York, so that explains a lot, but it really does have a ton to offer.

· Run by the Brooklyn Museum, Prospect Park Zoo, Brooklyn Botanic Gardens and finish in Prospect Park (which alone has a ton of stuff to do!). Brooklyn offers over 700 arts and cultural institutions for you to explore on race weekend!
· Brooklyn was originally its own separate city. It was not until the turn of the nineteenth century that Brooklyn merged with the City of New York. Who knew?!
· Nicknamed “Little Poland”, the Greenpoint section of Brooklyn (where the race expo will be held) has the second largest concentration of Polish immigrants outside of Chicago in the US!
· Post race food? How about a deep fried Twinkie? They were invented in Brooklyn! Count me in. I don’t run 13.1 miles for nothin’.

I’m pretty stoked to head here in October and check out this race… SO stoked, in fact, that my friends at RnR sent me a shirt (because you can never have enough) and a whole bunch more to hand out to you! (T-shirts for men and tanks for women, but you can have either!)

Excited? Me too.

Are you running RnR Brooklyn this year with me? Prices go up tomorrow (July 1) so register now at its cheapest!

I am part of Rock 'n Roll's Rock 'n Blog team this year, which includes three Rock 'n Roll race registrations. All opinions are my own, however, and my opinion is that I'm seriously stoked about this race. I cannot wait to tell you more!

On Marathon Confidence + Giveaway Winner!

My head has gone in both directions on how ready I feel, how ready I am, and how not ready I am for these 26.2 miles in two and a half weeks. I cannot believe it is almost here and just in awe at how fast the last four months went - seriously though!

My first leg at Ragnar was rough - a tough elevation climb, but it left me doubting what kind of shape I was in, because surely, I'd run hills before?! That's nothing new, so why did they beat me up so badly? It left me feeling a little down, as I'd hoped to knock out three stellar legs and maintain at least marathon pace on all three legs. The first leg averaged a 10:01 pace, leg 2 at 10:35 (only because all those dang stoplights!), and leg 3 finally kicked tail at a 9:49 pace.

The last mile of leg 3, I was feeling it. I had rocked pretty good that leg, and going into the last 1.25 miles, had five kills (all men) to help kickstart my final push into the exchange. When the going got tough, the first thing in my head  was, "Okay... this is mile 22 of the marathon. You got this now, it's time to push, get past the hurt and uncomfortable... and make this happen!" Bam. Done and done.  More on Ragnar Del Sol soon.

Tonight, I was scheduled for 40 minutes at an aerobic threshold pace. It was the last thing I wanted to do after an exhausting day with third graders, and really, I put it off as long as possible.

10 minutes of an easy warm up, 35 minutes at an AT pace, and then (too short of) a cool down, but that's okay. Those 4 miles during my 35 minutes are probably, in combination, my fastest 4  miles ever, all at an 8:13-8:29 pace, and even with the cool down and warm up, these 5.5 are probably my fastest ever (too bad the last Ragnar leg didn't turn out the same!).

Killer. And then it's runs like these that make me feel like I can do it all over again! Bring it on, LA Marathon!

Congrats to Jillian for winning the Spartan giveaway! Jillian, I'll be emailing you information and your registration code for the newest race on your calendar this year!

Didn't win? Have no fear - you can still get 10% off with the code SPARTANBLOGGER. This is good for any race in the US, any distance!

When did you hit the point where you feel like you COULD tackle that distance, whatever it may be?

Reebok Spartan Race Series | Giveaway!

It's no lie that I like to run. But sometimes, it's fun to take on a different sort of challenge - one that's just not all about running. While I have no strength in my body besides my legs, it's nice to put that theory to the test and see if I can manage any other strenuous activities that require muscles from my waist up (hint: my arms are more tired than my legs usually).

Obstacle courses are probably the best way to do that - with so many around by name (Spartan, Warrior Dash, Tough Mudder) and then smaller, local races that do the same, there are plenty of options to get your obstacle on and see what you're made of, too.

I have yet to add a Spartan race to my schedule this year, but maybe at some point in the near future, it'll get on my race calendar too! I'm excited for a little not-all-running fun, you know what I mean?

The cool part about the Spartan series is that there's varying degrees of intensity to choose from: Spartan Sprint is 3+ miles with 15+ obstacles, Super Spartan at 8+ miles and 20+ obstacles, and Spartan Beast at 12+ miles and 25+ obstacles! Each course is filled with mud pits, water, and their signature obstacles for you to tackle. Sounds like a blast to me!

For more updates all about Spartan races, be sure to follow their news feed - you can check out their new Podcast series, learn about the Spartan pass that allows you do to multiple races in a year, and even check out their newest venture - the Spartan CRUISE! Yep, a cruise down to the Bahamas so you can get your obstacle on internationally. If only I'd be ready, I'd say count me in!

Spartan races are all over the country, from Washington to Florida and Vermont to California - where will you take the challenge?

Spartan Race Twitter | Facebook

The super awesome Spartan folks have given me a chance to giveaway a race entry for any Spartan race (open-heat) in the Continental US for 2015! Sound like something you're game for? Enter below! Giveaway closes February 25 at midnight PST.

Happy Halloween!

What are you dressing up as this year?

Tonight I'm heading over to Doug's to pass out candy, coo at adorable babies dressed up (I seriously can't get enough of babies in costumes, especially anything animal-related), and drink wine... because duh.

Last night Doug and I went to Walmart to get him a last minute costume (true to his style) and ended up finding a sweet $10 costume amidst the piles and piles of wigs, masks, and fairy wings. I tried to convince him to wear fairy wings to work - it didn't fly (pun intended). More on our costumes later, as I've got to go make mine this afternoon!

Molly is at least in the holiday spirit already...

And I at least was in the spirit for RnR LA! Plenty of orange and black and all things Halloween. So there.

My last treat for today is finally announcing our WIN Detergent winner - congrats Mary Beth!

Mary Beth, I've sent you an email for some information I'll need from you!

If you're bummed you didn't win, you can still save $1 on WIN at Amazon with code WINGIVE1. So there, everybody wins!

Happy Halloween! What are your plans tonight?

Review: WIN Detergent + Giveaway!

Disclaimer: I was sent two bottles of WIN Detergent in exchange for this post through a partnership with Sweat Pink. As always, the opinions are my own. I received no compensation other than these two free bottles!

Especially as we (hopefully) wrap up these 95+ degree days in Southern California, my runs are early in the morning but live little to be desired in terms of how much I'm still sweating. And therefore, stinking. I want to do laundry like every day just to keep things smelling clean but in this drought, that's probably not smart. I digress...

WIN Detergent is designed and made for athletes and lovers of all things sweaty who are looking for great products to keep their athletic apparel fit and clean, all while removing that stank. There are two formulas: the original, scented (fresh!) formula and WIN Green -  its dye-free, fragrance free GREEN counterpart. WIN GREEN is hypoallergenic and designed for users with sensitive skin and noses. After using both the last few weeks, I definitely prefer the scented version (blue), but love knowing that both are friendly to my tech gear and remove the stinkyness regardless.

Not afraid to air my dirty laundry!  ;)
Especially after the Long Beach Half, where it got nice and toasty outside, I quite literally couldn't wait to get my stuff home and in the wash so it could smell pretty again.

Are you loading up on stinky clothes lately too after races? Now's your chance to earn two free bottles of your own, too! The winner of the giveaway will receive one each of the original WIN and WIN Green to use at home on their gear too. Detergent isn't super cheap, so why not jump on the chance to win some good-smelling stuff?! Giveaway ends Monday, October 20. Good luck!

A Non-Peachtree Recap + Giveaway Winner!

Happy 4th of July!

Well, for the first time since I started running, I didn't have a race on July 4. The last two years, I've done the epicly amazing Peachtree Road Race (10K) in Atlanta and am finding myself desperately missing it this year. As many a Georgia runner will tell you, you weren't considered a Georgia runner until you ran Peachtree at least once. Lucky for me, I got to run it twice... and never under my own name!

Friends after finishing the 2012 Peachtree.
This  morning, I wanted to go up to a local 5K but thought better of it and decided I'd run on my own around the city. I figured I could still at least get dressed up, represent the red, white and blue, and have my own fun. And I did. But it was hot and it got gross quick, even though I was out the door before 7:30. I'm going to start having to get up quite earlier to get through these next few weeks... June gloom is over.

I figured 4 miles for the Fourth was appropriate - but man, they were not easy!

The end of my day will look like this, filled with all the patriotic desserts I can stuff my face with - complete with fireworks and all the corresponding patriotic fun:

Yummm... I cannot wait!

In other exciting news, I get to finally pass on the super exciting prize of running Nike Women's San Francisco Half Marathon with Team in Training.

Congratulations Alex! I'll be emailing you this weekend to confirm and sending you all the information you need to know! I hope you have a BLAST and can't wait to here all about it!

What are you doing for the Fourth? Have a wonderful and safe celebration!

Team in Training San Francisco Nike Women's Race Giveaway

You can have an impact on cancer.

Join Team In Training (TNT) and run the Nike Women’s Half Marathon (NWHM) in San Francisco on October 19, 2014. You'll be helpingthe Leukemia and Lymphoma society (LLS) fund research to advance life-saving blood cancer treatments.

When I ran Nike DC in its inaugural year last April, I was in sheer AWE at the number of runners that participated through TNT. I vowed that one year, I wanted to work with an organization like that, raise funds for an amazing cause, and still get to run in the process.

After some research and lots of exploring, I've learned a LOT about Team in  Training and the superbly incredible things they do. TNT is the flagship fundraising campaign for LLS, and the NWHM in San Francisco is always sold out. At its 25th anniversary last year, TNT has trained more than 600,000 participants and raised more than $1.4 billion (!!).

While I wish I could say this was my year to run with TNT, I've had to make the difficult decision to let the chance pass me by -- BUT! This means awesome things for you.

You can run with TNT instead!

Yep, you read that right. I am using this opportunity to give away a Nike San Francisco race entry. With TNT, in exchange for raising funds, you’ll train for four months with world-class trainers, have access to clinics on nutrition and injury prevention and race through San Francisco’s iconic landmarks.

Want to learn more about Team in Training? They do not only the Nike races, but races all over the country! Check out more here and help TNT harness the power of physical activity to find cures and improve the quality of life for patients with blood cancer. Join TNT as they take over San Francisco this October!

FAQ:
  • The free registration for Team in Training is ONLY good for the NWM Half Marathon on October 19, 2014, in San Francisco
  • This free registration gets you guaranteed entry to NWMSF, along with a complete training program
  • You are still committed to fundraising through Team in Training - more information here about specific fundraising requirements
  • This program is perfect for runners who want to participate in NWM, train with a team, and fundraise for a good cause. It's also a great option for those who didn't get in through the lottery this year to join such an incredible race!
a Rafflecopter giveaway Giveaway closes July 2, 2014 at 12:00 am PST. All entries will be accounted for and chosen via Rafflecopter. Winner will be emailed to confirm participation and information regarding registration code.

Have you ever trained/run  with TNT? For what race/event?

Halfway There (Livin' on a Prayer)

Pardon the title. You're welcome for getting it stuck in your head.

Friends, we are just over halfway through year - can you believe it? While I feel that every year goes by faster and faster, it never fails to surprise me or catch me thinking, "Where did the time go?" "Wasn't it just Christmas" because in my head yes, yes it was just December.

With that, I am now down to having half the year to accomplish the things I set out for myself. Admittedly, I'm a to-do lister to a fault - while it certainly helps me stay focused, it also really frustrated me when I leave things unfinished or unattainable. The joy of crossing something off is uncanny to me. Yes, I'm a little OCD with my lists (let's not even talk about how many lists I'm operating on this week thanks to the move).

But I set myself up for some pretty big goals in 2013 - some that I'm en route to, and some that I can't honestly say I'm certain I'll achieve. Part of me really struggles with that and part of me says "It's okay. Do what you can." With that, we're going to re-review some of these 2013 goals and see just which ones I think I can do - six months to go!

Health | Fitness
- 1,000 miles: Last year I ran 664 of those with a goal of 800. From where I stand now (351 as of June 30), I'll need 100-mile months for the rest of the year, something I've only achieved once. While I intend on being on a marathon training plan beginning in October, I am not 100% that this is do-able. B goal: 850.
- Sub-2 hour half marathon: We all know how my dream sub-2 race turned out for me. And while it still stings a little, I can't lie, I also know now just how achievable this is. I can make this happen. The only race I'm signed up for in the fall is the Las Vegas RnR, and with moving throwing my life budget out of whack, I am not sure what else is in store. But I'm still determined to make 2013 my sub-2 year. B goal: there isn't one. Bam.
- Sub-26 5K: Current 5K PR is 27:10, on legs that ran after 11 hours after Disneyland. This is sooo do-able. B goal: not allowed.
- Sub 1-hour 10K: Completed!
- Finish that marathon standing upright:  Completed!
- 13 in 2013: 10 races down, number 11 is tomorrrow, 12 is Vegas, and number 13 will fall in there somewhere. B goal: will just be more than 13!
- VOLUNTEER with at least 2 races: 1 done, Georgia Publix Marathon. 2, I actually just signed up for volunteering at the Long Beach Marathon finish line! Excited to be at the end of a race and see all the folks meeting their goals. B goal: volunteering at more than 1 more and giving back to an amazing community!

Personal
- Student loan paid off: Pending life and living situations that are still TBD as of today, despite the fact that I'm Cali-bound in three days, this could be achieved. It would be an amazing accomplish to have this done in just five years instead of the default (and still fast) ten years. B goal: March 2014, still only three months later.
- Increase savings: That's been rocky at best, and moving certainly it won't help. But much like the above, pending life situations, this can happen. B goal: just an increase. Period.
- Make time for those I love: I was a little better at making regular calls to my grandparents, which I am okay with, but knew I could be better. Now that I get to live close to them again, this will be easier and I am really looking forward to that (as I know they are). B goal: Lunch/dinner with just me and the grandparents at least once a month.
- Journal: Major fail area. I've journaled maybe once since January. B goal: once per month, minimum.

And now... as promised... our Power Ice pack winner! Congratulations  Danielle - I've emailed you with the information I need to send your prize off. Please respond no later than Friday, July 5, at 10 am EST or I will pick a new winner.

Where do you stand with your goals for 2013? Have you had to make adjustments to any of them?
